Unjani Clinic aims to bring quality affordable healthcare services to communities across South Africa. By building a successful network of clinics owned and run by professional nurses, Unjani Clinic is empowering black women, improving healthcare quality and access, and creating employment in our communities.
Originally pioneered by Imperial, the concept was developed out of the need for the urgent transformation in the healthcare system in South Africa; the fact that our country faces the triple affliction of HIV, AIDS & TB; the fact that 84% of our population are dependent on an overburdened Public Sector system; and a costly curative-care based model vs. disease prevention and promotion.
The initiative is delivered through a Non-Profit Company registered as Unjani Clinics NPC, who acts as the support structure in the relationship. The legal structure is based on a Non-Profit Company, without members.
Our Vision for the Network is to:

a month agoI have had the pleasure of being cared for by Sister Mbali and Sister Takalani throughout my antenatal care, and I am beyond grateful for the incredible service they provide. Sister Mbali is exceptionally knowledgeable, always willing to share her expertise in a way that’s easy to understand. Her patience and thorough approach have given me so much confidence and peace of mind. Sister Takalani is incredibly gentle and has such a calming presence. She embodies what it means to be a nurse—treating every patient with kindness, empathy, and a sense of calling to her profession. Both sisters have made my journey through ANC truly special.

in the last weekI would not even rate this clinic because it's not a clinic they way they treat ,,patients and we only pay our money to be asked about what you only feel and and they want to give medicine without checking you what if they give you wrong medication,,we call apon their management team to act on this that's why we chose private hospital as we pay so that we can be given proper treatment
