Meridian Cosmo City has a primary school in Cosmo City, Roodepoort. We provide the excellent Curro education to learners from Grade R to Grade 7. We limit our class sizes to make sure learners get personal attention, and teaching takes place in English. We also have extra developmental activities as part of our programme to make sure that your child grows in more than just academics.
As a Meridian Cosmo City Primary school that forms part of the Curro school group, we are managed by Curro as part of a joint venture with Old Mutual and the Public Investment Corporation. Also, our goal is to give our learners a head start in reaching their dreams, whatever these might be.

What happens at Meridian Cosmo City
Our foundation phase starts by helping our youngest children get ready for the formal learning that starts in Grade R. In this phase, they learn the basic foundations on which all further learning is based:
- Language (read, spell, understand, speak, listen)
- Mathematics (count, understand numbers, addition, subtraction and multiplication)
- Life skills (physical education, real-life experiences, problem-solving, creativity)
In the intermediate phase, the work becomes less tangible or real, and more abstract. To do this, learners start with project-based learning, which means they do research, assignments, and experiments to explore the material outside just the textbook.

4 months agoNot happy the grade 10 math class average is 37% still no communication as to how the learner will be help. No response to emails about it earlier but they are very good at collecting fees. My son in grade 2 I have to find a tutor as he still struggles and it seems teaching is shifted to parents.
